Your files never leave your computer. FreshDittos does all its work right in your browser. We don't upload, store, or see your documents, and there's no server that could. When you close the tab or hit Clear Everything, it's gone.
How the processing works
When you drop a file into FreshDittos, it is read entirely within your browser using standard web APIs. A Web Worker — a sandboxed background thread that stays on your device — converts the file into the ditto or mimeo effect. No data is sent to any server at any point. You can verify this yourself: open DevTools, go to the Network tab, and watch while your file is being processed. You will see no outbound request that carries any part of your document.

We never write document data to localStorage, sessionStorage,
IndexedDB, the Cache API, or cookies.
What we collect
